The NFT market has seen a significant drop in transaction volumes, but that doesn’t imply it’s a passing ‘fad’, the minds and entities gathering around this technology will foster its evolution, entering into a new high-tech era of NFTs, which are already one of the best representatives of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

It’s the Playstation 1 / Nintendo 64 era of NFTs, so just hold your horses. The initial NFT boom drew in billions of dollars in the first four months of 2020, and despite the slight decline, appetite and innovation are still high.

Thank you to NonFungible.com for providing all the data used below. So here are the top 5 sales from June 2021!

5) Resurrection by EBI

Project: SuperRare

Last Sale Price: US$201,967.55 / 103 ETH

First Sale Price: US$201,967.55 / 103 ETH

Accumulated Sales: US$201,967.55

This slice of animated NFT artwork was first sold on June 23rd, making its debut sale above the 200k mark, which is rather wild.

Created by Persian musician EBI, the piece is representative of the first efforts to implement human rights some 2600 years ago by Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Empire.

4) Ͼ #8010

Project: CryptoPunks

Last Sale Price: US$232,730.26 / 109 ETH

First Sale Price: US$333,614.25 / 155 ETH

Accumulated Sales: US$566,344.51

Once again CryptoPunks has landed a hot sale from its 10k supply of pixel punk artworks. This punk, however, has fewer meta attributes.

This female CryptoPunk sports a simple Orange Side with Hot Lipsticks, and seemingly that is worth double what is worth in April.

3) Ͼ #9749

Project: CryptoPunks

Last Sale Price: US$246,040.00 / 100 ETH

First Sale Price: US$82,155.06 / 47 ETH

Accumulated Sales: US$607,692.84

Now this is epic. Over the past few months there have been a great deal of CryptoPunks who are green zombies or have vampire attributes, so it’s great to see the rainbow helicopter hat make a debut on the top five list. Also the eye patch. Cool.

2) Ͼ #8805

Project: CryptoPunks

Last Sale Price: US$337,056.72 / 138 ETH

First Sale Price: US$337,056.72 / 138 ETH

Accumulated Sales: US$337,056.72

Coming in at no.2 and proving June was a hot-cryptochick month, CryptoPunk #8805 debuts at a ridiculous figure. Sporting purple lipstick, a gold chain, and a pilot helmet, this CryptoPunk is probably one of the best.

1) EST #4247

Project: Decentraland

Last Sale Price: US$913,808.98 / 1,295,000 MANA

First Sale Price: US$913,808.98 / 1,295,000 MANA

Accumulated Sales: US$913,808.98

In terms of virtual blockchain worlds, Decentraland is the leading project that has built a world of NFTs, literally; and so here here is this month’s highest-selling NFT, a patch of land within the Decentraland world.

The land has made a debut of almost $1 million, giving the impression that whatever is built upon or even near this land could prove to be some of the most valuable virtual real estate ever.
