Who is CoinBurp: Your first crypto platform
A living story that will be updated as and when the team, and product, evolves.
What do CoinBurp do?
At CoinBurp the aim is to change the dark and intimidating landscape of the cryptocurrency market. By employing a user-centered design process focused on user experience, the goal is to create a trading platform so simple and intuitive that my Nan could use it (she struggles to use her TV).
Back-story
CoinBurp is the brainchild of Peter Wood (CEO) and Bipin Bhanderi (COO). It was back in 2014 when, with only £1,000, this dynamic duo founded BitBroker; a brokerage website which quickly became a leader in the industry and enjoyed a turnover of £100,000,000. It was at this point when Peter and Bipin decided the next logical step was to create their own platform. And so, in early 2018, CoinBurp was born.
A growing team
The next piece of the puzzle came with the UX-lead; Tom Allison. When he’s not watching Spurs lose, he’s ensuring only the best experience for you, the users. Full-stack developer; Damian Borek was fourth to join the ranks. You’ll find him in the office staring at pages of code and listening to loud electronic music (or miles away immersed in his Oculus Rift … or shooting the rest of the team with his Nerf guns). All being said, what every company needs is a voice, a man of the people, a true visionary, and so CoinBurp hired a handsome charming young man named Darren McCarthy as their marketing manager (he may be writing this).
